Lieber Liefeld, a football player from Yale, was practicing his sport when an otherworldly thunderstorm rampaged his training grounds. With all his friends dead, Lieber jumps into action, and tries to escape from the tragic site. As the storm rages, he is caught in one final lightning strike which transports him into a strange new land. Upon arrival, the inhabitants see him as the prophesied savior destined to free them from the villainous Pink Sorceress.
